The seminar will analyse the refundable tax credit system from both a theoretical and practical perspective. In particular the seminar will analyse the circumstances where the full refund, 6/7ths, 5/7ths and the 2/3rds can be claimed and how the tax refunds interact between themselves and with other fiscal provisions, including the participation exemption system, the Notional Interest Deduction Rules, the double tax relief provisions and the Consolidated Group Rules.
