This training sessions will provide a focused overview of two accounting standards: IAS 16, Property, plant and equipment and IAS 40, Investment property. We will explore key recognition and measurement requirements under IFRS. Participants will also gain insights into the Capital Allowance framework, including tax depreciation rules, and the Capital Goods Scheme (CGS), highlighting how VAT is adjusted on high-value capital assets.
