The EU Pay Transparency Directive (Directive 2023/970) aims to close the gender pay gap by enforcing "equal pay for equal work" through mandatory salary disclosures, pay reporting, and strict transparency measures. These measures will impact organisations' HR activities, particularly with regards to recruitment, pay structures and employee rights with regards to compensation. During this course we will be addressing these requirements and discuss a specific available solution that may be implemented to identify, measure and retain the relativities that exist within an organisation whilst simultaneously ensuring adherence to this Directive. We will also discuss practical action plans that may be implemented to handle anomalies that may be identified as a result of such an exercise, as well as the long-term benefits that an organisation can obtain from implementing a Job Evaluation system.
