This session will endeavour to address the major fiscal benefits that businesses can avail of. In this context we will look into the deductions and exemptions that are available within the Income Tax Act which inherently affect a company’s tax charge for any particular year. We will discuss how the Malta full imputation tax system works as well as the mechanism for claiming tax refunds. Finally we will explore another form of fiscal benefit, which would be the application of the primary support incentives that are available through Malta Enterprise.
